About Me

Hello Students and Parents! I am your 6th grade English teacher, and here is a little about me:

I grew up in Maryland and moved to Texas just a few years ago. I received my Bachelors of Science degree in Elementary Education from Grand Canyon University in Arizona. I have been substitute teaching in Kenedy for a few years now and have been the Color Guard Director as well.

As a teacher, the most important things to me are making sure my students gain all the knowledge they possibly can in my classroom. I strive to make my classes both educational and fun. I always make sure to incorporate different activities for different learning styles, as well as, integrate the arts into the classroom whenever possible. It is my goal every year to prepare my students, not just for 7th grade or high school, but for their futures. It's important that my students see their potential and work hard every day to make their goals achievable.

I always look forward to fresh and new faces every year and how eager they are to learn. I enjoy teaching English and realize how important it is that your students understand and grow success in this class.
